Science Tutoring That Makes the Classroom Finally Click

We don't teach new content — we translate what your child's teacher already covered in the Ontario curriculum, with course-code-fluent tutors who know exactly where things tend to fall apart.

Ontario reintroduces mandatory final exams, 2026-27 — 20% of the final grade in Grades 9-10, 25% in Grades 11-12.

Translation, Not New Content

We don't teach a second curriculum — we translate exactly what your child's teacher already covered, in a way that finally makes sense.

Course-Code Fluent Tutors

Tutors who know SNC1W through SBI4U, SCH4U, and SPH4U — not generic science, the exact Ontario course your child is taking.

Confidence Re-Engagement

One-on-one pacing rebuilds confidence for students who've fallen behind, without waiting on the rest of the class.

The Attention the Classroom Can't Always Give

A 2023 survey of Ontario principals found only 1 in 5 felt adequately supported delivering the de-streamed Grade 9/10 curriculum, and fewer schools now offer smaller class sizes than before. We give your child the one-on-one attention that's gotten harder to find in the classroom itself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about our service.

Grade 12 university-level courses move faster and lean more heavily on independent problem-solving and lab-based assessment than Grade 11 — the jump catches many strong students off guard. We help bridge that gap early, before it shows up on a report card.

We teach the actual skill of writing a strong lab report — method, data analysis, and conclusions — not just the content being tested, since lab work carries a significant share of the final grade in senior science courses.

Yes — we support AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, and IB SL/HL Science alongside the regular Ontario curriculum.

Grade 11 and 12 science courses are almost always part of a university's Top-6 admission average — we help make sure science isn't the course dragging that average down.

Ontario destreamed Grade 9 science in September 2022, replacing the old academic/applied split with one combined course (SNC1W) that now covers a wider range of student levels in the same room. It's a real shift, not just a perception — and it's part of why more individualized support tends to help more than it used to.
