Terms of Use

By using the Knowledge World Education ("KW Education," "we," "us," "our") website located at knowledgeworld.ca (the "Site") or submitting any form on the Site — including the consultation request form or subject-matching quiz — you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

If you are submitting information on behalf of a minor (for example, as a parent or guardian arranging tutoring for your child), you confirm that you are that child's parent or legal guardian and are authorized to provide their information and agree to these Terms on their behalf.

The Site provides information about KW Education's tutoring services (Math, English, French, Science, Coding, and IELTS preparation) and allows visitors to request a free consultation, take a short quiz to help identify a suitable tutoring format and subject, and contact KW Education directly.

The Site does not process payments. Tutoring fees are arranged and paid directly between KW Education and the client outside of this website (for example, by e-transfer or other methods agreed upon directly). Nothing on this Site constitutes a payment transaction, invoice, or receipt.

KW Education tutors work to support each student's learning, but we do not guarantee specific grades, exam results, admissions outcomes, or other academic results. Any outcomes described on this Site (including testimonials) reflect individual experiences and are not a promise of similar results for every student.

Some areas of the Site may require creating an account. You agree to provide accurate information and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

Because KW Education serves K-12 students, many account holders will be minors. A student account for anyone under the age of majority in Ontario (18) must be created by, or have its use expressly consented to by, a parent or legal guardian, who remains responsible for the account's use.

You agree not to: provide false or misleading information in any form on the Site; use the Site for any unlawful purpose; behave abusively toward KW Education staff, tutors, or other users; attempt to interfere with the Site's normal operation or security; or scrape, copy, or republish Site content without permission.

We may suspend or terminate access to an account, at our discretion, for conduct that includes but isn't limited to: unlawful conduct, abuse toward staff or other users, violation of another party's intellectual property rights, or violation of these Terms. Where practical, and except where the suspension results from unlawful conduct, we will make reasonable efforts to give you access to your account information on request.

This section governs the website account only — it does not affect any separate tutoring service arrangement made directly with KW Education, which is governed by whatever agreement you have with us for that service.

We may add, change, or discontinue features of the Site at any time. Since the Site doesn't involve a paid subscription to itself, this section doesn't include a billing notice period — any change that affects your actual tutoring arrangement will be communicated to you directly, not just through a Site update.

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, and curriculum materials — is the property of KW Education or its licensors and may not be reproduced or used without permission, except as necessary to use the Site for its intended purpose (e.g., browsing, submitting a consultation request).

The Site may link to third-party sites (such as social media pages). We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party site.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KW Education is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
